On 4 September 2024, the Europe and North America Consultation on Implementing UNESCO's 2019 OER Recommendation will bring together regional stakeholders to discuss the advancement and future directions of Open Educational Resources (OER). This hybrid workshop, organized during Digital Learning Week, is a crucial preparatory event for the 3rd UNESCO World OER Congress, focusing on digital public goods and inclusive access to knowledge.
Participants will engage in sharing best practices, reviewing new implementation guidelines, and contributing to the draft Outcome Document that will shape global OER initiatives. The consultation aims to align regional efforts with UNESCO's objectives, fostering collaboration and innovation in the use of openly licensed educational materials.
